Somwarpet Waterfall Lodge

Located between [Somwarpet](/kodagu/somwarpet) town and the Mallalli Falls road, this lodge is a practical base for waterfall-hunters and trekkers. Rooms are spread across two buildings set in a garden of coffee and areca. The staff pack packed lunches and arrange jeep transport to Mallalli Falls, Pushpagiri, and the smaller cascades above Kotebetta. Evenings bring cool mist from the Ghats and simple, hot meals. While not luxurious, the lodge is reliable, quiet, and close to some of the less-visited trails in northern [Kodagu](/home). Book by phone; ask for rooms on the upper floor.
